Special Modules and Workshops
Acting Workshops (120hours /workshop)
These form the core of the work at Studio JLMB. Each acting workshop unfolds over several months, allowing for deep exploration and development.
Over the two years, every student takes part in five acting workshops with five different guest artists. Each workshop culminates in public performances at one of our partner theatres, showcasing the students’ creativity and growth as performers.
Each 120-hour workshop brings students together with a working artist (actor, director, etc.). Check the News section to see who is leading the current workshops.
Workshops (Stage Combat, Puppetry, Writing, etc.) (40hours /workshop)
Five workshops spread over the two years, covering a wide range of disciplines: puppetry, writing, stunts and combat, acting for the camera, dramaturgy, improvisation, and more.

These various modules, led by teachers with diverse artistic backgrounds and practices, provide the student-actor with a broad perspective on the many artistic fields and working methods they will need to master.
Professional Immersion Modules
Complementary projects to the regular curriculum, fully supported by Studio JLMB and its partners, with no additional cost for students. Examples include:
-
Professional public readings, developed in partnership with the Écrivains Associés du Théâtre.
-
“In the Actor’s Kitchen” projects: live staging in the presence of the author.
-
Work sessions and participation in directors’ residencies, in partnership with, among others, Théâtre Paris-Villette and Théâtre de la Cité Internationale.
In the second year, a specific module provides students with administrative tools and guidance for building their network and creating their own artistic company.
International Educational Exchanges
In partnership with ARTEVA and the Bilingual Dramatic Arts Workshop led by Serge Avédikian, Studio JLMB welcomes young Armenian artists each year for joint workshops with our students, fostering enriching artistic and human exchanges.

Theatre Outings
Students benefit from reduced tickets to performances at our partner theatres. Each month, we organize group outings to attend current productions together. These shared evenings help to develop a common theatrical culture and enhance each student’s critical perspective.
Preparation for Entrance Exam Preparation
Individualized support for auditions to National and Superior Drama Schools (CNSAD, TNS, ENSATT, etc.), available to Studio JLMB students as well as external candidates.
