A school on the move
Studio JLMB is an itinerant school for actor training meaning that we turn each partner venue into a space for creation and residency. Students rehearse, create, and collaborate with artistic and technical teams, experiencing how theatres really operate. Every workshop ends with public performances, giving them a direct encounter with the stage and the craft of live performance.
Through its movement from place to place, Studio JLMB offers students the chance to explore different theatres and experience many forms of creation throughout their training.

Lilas-en-scène
140 m² stage space
With a 3 m ceiling height and 5.3 m under the glass roof. Black-painted wooden floor, white walls or black velvet drapes. Mirror along one wall. Rest area and restroom facilities. Access to the upper floor.
Lilas-en-Scène is a center for exchange and creation in the performing arts, welcoming companies and artists in a spirit of experimentation and collaboration.
Espace Sorano
Théâtre Sorano - 200 seats
A 200-seat auditorium featuring an 8 m × 5 m stage, sound and lighting control, and dressing rooms. A true professional theater, ideal for presentations, performances, and the students’ work at Studio JLMB.
Petit Sorano - 130 m²
A perfect working space for acting, dance, and voice training, offering Studio JLMB students an ideal setting to experiment and deepen their practice.

100 m² Theater
This space offers a 100 m² flat stage with an oiled oak parquet floor, ideal for physical and vocal work. It is equipped with sound and lighting control, mirrors, an upright piano, and a video projection system. Students also have access to on-site restrooms and showers. This partnership allows Studio JLMB to provide a professional and inspiring environment for its artistic activities.
